Review: Aura of Night by Heather Graham

Will this be a three-book story arc in the Krewe Hunters? This book picks up from the previous book with Colleen's sister, Megan. Megan is not in law enforcement like her triplets sister and brother. She is an editor for heaven's sake. She does share a common trait with her siblings. Her psychic abilities to see ghosts are expanded in this story.

Pairing up with here is Ragnar, an actual law enforcement agent. The suspense in this story is well done as Ragnar and Megan race to prevent more women from being beaten and then buried alive. Megan's psychic abilities start to morph and become something more. This transition pulls Ragnar closer to her and between the two of them and a little help from friends, they are able to unravel this serial killing conspiracy.

I am really enjoying this current story line. I like the characters as well as how they adjust to new abilities. The stories are so well written, they come alive in my mind's eye. Ms. Graham transports me into a suspense action flick with the richness in her details. The pace of this book works well for me as I ended up reading it all in one sitting. Another late night with a morning book hangover for any reader starting this right before bedtime. This suspense is recommended to readers who enjoy law enforcement working with psychics.
